Now I see why Mahomes wasn't was as highly sought after in the draft. He played well but a lot of hsi passing yards came from little dump offs and screen where the receiver got a ton of YAC. There were four horrendous passes that shouldv'e been picked right in the hands of defenders who dropped them. He also missed several wide open receivers. For every great throw he made, there were two that were baffling. His final completion percentace was less than 60%. Mayfield looked way more polished. The defense was non-existent for both teams. I personally think Mixon was the MVP of this game.
