  • Here's my *Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6* Finale video. Lots of Book Easter Eggs and References to stuff from earlier seasons of the show and the pilot episode. Let me know how many you spotted! I'll post a bigger video about the ending of the characters and how close I think it will be to the ending of the Books. Special HBO Game of Thrones Bonus Episode airs next week. And Game of Thrones Prequel stuff coming soon this week too!

    • +sunkara shiva That could have been a farce. Just to appease Grey Worm. So he wouldn't start a war. They can't make Jon do anything cause Sansa rules the North.

    • I feel that Drogon is aware of a lot more than you give him credit for, he may not be able to mimic human speech but able to telepath with his human partner. John is Aegon and Drogon KNOWS this. He is tied to John in a strong way, he is grieving the death of his siblings and mother and rightfully so. I feel he DID melt the Iron Throne purposely as a gesture of finality to Aegon(John), IDK lol.

    • +Brian Stiffler Arya got to leave Westeros. Probably not going to find anything but she not married or anything.

    • +Suzuki Six The story will be the same. The books will just fill in the details that will explain this speed run mess.

    • +WundertueteGER There were two water bottles in that episode. One by Sam's feet and one by Davos' feet.

  • Indeed so bad Jon's lineage didn't matter...

  • What a joke watched all the shows for this pathetic end sorry I bothered lame as you can get.

  • Danyy😔💔

  • Wow 1 trending in Canada 🇨🇦

  • They did Dany dirty, but I really loved it.

  • Bran: I don't want to be king also Bran: (smiles) why do you think I came all this way?

  • Shouldn't all the Dothraki kill themselves as Dany's bloodriders?

  • The one thing that could of saved this piss poor awful episode is if we had 5 mins of Bran showing us how he manupulated everyone in order to get the throne but we were left with that shower of shit. Thanks for building us up just to ruin it. Worst ending i've seen. Queen Dany!

  • I keep hearing you mention an extra episode. I can't find anything on it, I'm curious what made you believe this or why you think there is. I really hope there is.

  • How did Sam become an Arch Maester/Grand Maester? And I thought GRRM was going to be in the last episode?

  • The child lived... Its based on a true story, they will delete this, as they’ve my last 2 comments

  • Will der be bonus video And what will they show?? Can smne help me

  • This doesn't seem like a bittersweet ending. I mean, the Starks aren't dead so I guess that's supposed to be enough?

  • The ending sucked

  • So Bran couldn’t be the Winterfell lord but he can be King? Wtf

  • literally no one: Bran: why do you think I came all this way...

  • After Bran became King and Greyworm wanted some sort of punishment for Jon, wouldn't it they have said he had to leave the six kingdoms, as opposed to saying he specifically had to go to the Night's Watch? I was thinking he would be might go back to Winterfell, since it's not part of the six kingdoms. Also, the Night's Watch has no purpose with no threat of the wight walkers (and the Wall is broken), so Jon/Tormund etc are basically wildlings, so they're not really part of the Night's Watch, since they're free to go beyond the wall.

  • TOTAL FAIL. I hate the ending they went with, killed the Starlet that intended to free all the world from the rule of the elites. Sound familiar? Took the hero that should have been Danis' biggest ally and whom she wished to marry and share the throne with in her quest to free the masses- and made him the ultimate traitor, and hence failure. I think the outcome was defined most clearly when Samuel proposed to the gathering of elites- that since there was for once in history no king on the throne- to let the people choose the king- and the the elites laughed and ridiculed him out of the discussion! This is part and parcel of our actual human struggle that we- humanity face today- and the message given was 'a breaker of chains' 'a champion for freedom' does ultimately perish- despite how noble and valiant! The system- aka 'the wheel' remains and the despite a potential 'more just' King -the quest that we all embarked upon was a failed campaign. Terrible message to send our increasingly ruled and censored humanity today.

  • I didn’t really get why the Greyjoy’s would be so against the North when Theon died in the North protecting Bran

  • Arya: what's west of westoros? Me: Hopefully the real ending of Game of Thrones...

  • So the turnip is being advised by an onion. Interesting.

  • WTF Jon’s forced to take the black for killing the mad queen, Jaime didn’t have to for killing the mad king, and it’s Jon’s own family who does this to him! Aegon who? Jon’s still the red headed stepchild banished to the wall, at least he’s with Ghost, I guess that’s the sweet because everything else was bitter!

  • Damn this is #1 ON TRENDING! Congrats on all the success Charley!

  • There can still be a season 9. Dany is not dead yet... reminds me of Excalibur when Arthur was carried away by his ex wife in the boat.

  • No one says nothing about the fact that Arya as a girl was worshiping the queen Nymeria and she even called her direwolf after her. Nymeria is a queen who sailed west and made an alliance with the Martells. as far as I see it , she also see herself as an Adventurous and as a warrior that will go west to discover.

  • I didn't realize that was sweet Robin 😭😭😭

  • Why did they let Sansa to be abble to choose a king since she is not part of the kingdom anymore?

  • so... Scotland... I mean... the North decide to "fuck you all, we'd have enough of you shit" and declare total independence from the rest of Westeros. Westeros turn into a Constitutional Monarch, King was elected not inherited. well... I thing this is the best ok-ish endind they can do, this season is 5/10. don't need to kept beating this dead hose, I think you guy is turning this into a whole new Star War prequel fiasco.

  • I think it was ash, not snow that covered Kings Landing. Drogon was completely covered in it, and dragons are said to be hot to the touch in the books, so snow would’ve melted, but ash would not have.

  • Love your videos, Charlie! Thanks so much for all your hard work during the show! I don’t know how I feel about the ending yet, either! I loved Dany and still, was okay with her going “Mad Queen” but, I don’t buy that they were setting it up the whole time. Sure, watching it back people will see the things she does in a different light but, let’s not forget that she locked away 2 of her children (and would have put Drogon down there, too, if he was around, because they killed ONE child. Never mind that they would all most likely be dead if she hadn’t gone North TWICE to fight White Walkers and, ultimately, the Night King. My point is, they didn’t give her enough time to become “mad”. It was definitely rushed - as was her “love story” with Jon Snow. They didn’t have the same kind of chemistry as her and Drogo but, it could be because they didn’t give them enough screen time to let us watch them fall in love. Finally, I absolutely think that Dragons are very smart. I believe it’s mentioned both in the books (it’s been a long time so don’t hold me to that) and in the show that some people think that Dragons May even be smarter than men. I don’t know about that since clearly both dragons with no human rider was able to be killed) but, I still believe that they are very smart. I believe that Drogon knew that the Quest for the Iron Throne killed his mother (and so many others) and so he destroyed it. RIP Dany - you kick ass warrior!

  • Damn Martin is an ugly ass troll...and a thief...fuck got

    • Dinklage should have become king.

  • who rebuild the wall so fast?

  • Drogon burned the throne because he knew that's what really killed his mother

  • Sansa is the new Cersie

  • Fun fact: all the unsullied will die on naath, because of butterfly disease....

  • I was right, i said a while back, bran will end up on the throne, well close enough. I am happy with the ending, could of been a lot worse imo.

  • The argument for this season was written by Hodor.

  • ''Who had the best story?'' We all now, he came from the death!

  • Drogon melted The Iron Throne into a ramp for Bran.

  • Overall satisfied with the show, I just wish Jon got to be king, would have been nice to see the bastard ascend to the throne, even if he didn’t want it at all

  • I guess sansa got what she always wanted ever since season 1 to be Queen: fuck you Bran the North is independent so I can be Queen

  • For the first time in GOT season 8 It was a great episode... for about 40minutes, then Drogon fly away like he knew that the rest of the ep will be so shitty. Finally it ends and i don't have to watch that bad writing again. What about Dpothraki? Like they just remembered that most of them actually died in a 3rd ep and they decide to dissapear.

  • Dani died without Love. Cersei died with Love.

  • 2 questions... 1. Why didn't Drogon try to kill Jon? 2. Why did Grey Worm and the Unsullied imprison Jon after finding out what he did instead of immediately killing him?

  • This series was...to me...modern mythology...chock full of archetypes that represent portals of the mind. It was beautiful in its examination of who we really are and the final nod went to the esoteric mind...Bran. I want to thank you for your analyses down through the years of this series. It was never goofy , but clear and concise. Much appreciation Charlie...

  • Amazing finale, great job tying everything up (except maybe Nymeria).

    • I think Arya and Nymeria meeting the last time was supposed to be tying up their relationship. Both of them realized that they were wild and undomesticated. They ended their relationship with respect and love to go their separate wild ways.

  • The problem is d&d did not do George RR Martin any justice. He wrote these books because he went through a horrible divorce and shit.

  • Thanks for your fine work Charlie

  • this episode had loads of random shit

  • I agree with you. I think even if George R.R. Martin ends the book series with similar endings, it'd make a lot of sense in the books. I only watched the show, and was always team Stark. Initially I wasn't that interested in some of the other story-lines (Stannis, Boltons, Greyjoys, even to some extant the Wildlings) but I kept forcing myself to follow the show just to know what happens to the Starks before getting obsessed with it. So considering how BAD the season was, I would say, I am satisfied (not happy of course). Jon never wanted power, he never even wanted to fight. He never felt like home in Winterfell either, because Catelyn hated him so much. Castle Black was the only place where he found home, and at the end when he left with the Wildlings, I felt he finally found the freedom he longed for. Sansa loved the North and Winterfell more than anyone, and she rightfully deserved to be the Queen of the independent North. Arya was never to be happy in one place. For the journey she had, she became obsessed with adventure and discovering the uncharted territories. And who knows, she might come back to see her siblings after her voyage, after all she is carrying the Stark banner. As for Bran, if only we had 10 seasons with 10 episode each, it would have made perfect sense, but the way the show moved forward, it seemed absurd (including all the other characters). Just one thing, I know a lot of people hated Bran for not saying or doing anything, but I think he did that because he wasn't supposed to. Everything had to be done the way it was supped to, he couldn't interfere and change anything as it might create a ripple effect, especially after the Hodor indecent. He probably realized that it's never a good idea. My question to you would be, if that's how the story had to end, what was the purpose of showing Jon's true parentage?

  • Finally, kingdoms got Kings 👑, they deserved, free folk deserved the best.

  • Awesome finale!!! But the reactions is what you get when your audience grows to a non-thinking mob and needs to have everything explained and delivered on a plate 🙏🏻

  • Your are shure about the Lord Commander? I Think Jon goes with the Wildlings in the True North. There is no need of a nigthwatch anymore

  • Soo are we just ignoring the fact that Jon has a birthright to the throne?

  • Who is that actress u show as Ashara Dayne?

  • Anyone seen my water bottle??

  • I don't think Drogon was "waging around in grief" when he burned the Iron Throne. He was during his first wave, the flames circling around everywhere, *missing* the goddamn chair, but then he actually takes aim and starts concentrating all his fire breathing *directly* into the Iron Throne, he had a serious vendetta against that chair for costing him his mother's life. (and to an extent, his entire family) Watch it again later, Charlie. You'll see Drogon is actually focusing on tge Iron Throne after his initial outburst.

  • Goddamnit you had me hyped up for an Epilogue Episode Seven for season 8. The Last Watch is a glorified “Inside The Episode”, not a bonus episode for fuck sakes.

  • It SUCKED...Drogon please carry us away from this tragedy like you did Dany.

  • The only one I like after this episode are the animals and Tormund. After this I just wished Hodor went to get an ice cream when they needed him at the door.

  • I 100% love the Bran the Broken decision! i really did not see that coming at all! best part of the show! "Why do you think I came all this way?" -mic drop

  • This season was a huge kick in the balls.

  • Put dat dragon in chains and feed him Dani. See will he eat if he's hungry.😀😁😀😄😄😁

  • Game of thrones was like life. The first seasons were the best moments in your life. And, as you grow older and older it gets slowly worse Then, when you reach your 7th season everything start sucking. Finally you reach the 8th and last season of your life. The end is near. Nothing starts making much sense. The final moments suck, the worst period of your life, for sure. And then, it's over. Nobody is gonna miss you, and those who will, will miss the young you. End of story

  • *Bran The Boring* more like...

  • Once the unsullied left the continent they should just let John back out lol

  • GOT journey is much better than destination ..

  • 11:10...sam's left foot. waterbottle. LOL

  • SHIT SHIT SHIT Ending! WTF

  • The chemistry was fine. They were both wasted characters, done dirty In my opinion though.

  • The episode sucked

  • I agree with all the other people complaining about Jon’s true identity only served to make Danny go mad? So they set this whole thing up from the very beginning only to use it for something that did not make sense. He loved her and still swore his allegiance to her. So the whole build up was for nothing. Also, he basically saves the world twice and he get banished for it? Ridiculous ending.

  • Jon Snow deserved the throne. Its sad he didnt get it

  • Drogon going to Volantis getting his mum an express resurrection

  • *Yeah that sansa cunt made that whole thing super cringe... Your own brother is becoming king and you want Brexit because you want to be queen of something? What are you still season 1 sansa? Get a grip hoe.*

  • Drogon burnt the iron throne thinking "if my mum can't have this, nobody will"

  • Drogon absolutely aimed for the Iron Throne, they say a couple times during the story that dragons are very intelligent creatures.

  • Arya: what is west of westrose . . . . . . . . Me:Why don't ask your Wikipedia on wheelchair

  • Also meine Meinung nah. Bis auf 8 x 3 konnte maln die staffeln 8 inner Tonne kloppen. Die Macher sollten sich schämen so eine staffeln raus zu bringen. Buuuuuuu sage ich nur.....

  • This episode was exactly like End Game - underwhelming.

  • At least the lords of westeros learned to get the opinion of everyone when selecting a new king... I mean before they would have just laughed.... Oh wait...

  • bran :why do u think i came all this way bran too : i dont want to be a king

  • I predicted that either Varys or Bran would be King at the end and was very pleased with it being Bran.

  • I felt content with the throne going to Bran for the simple fact that it brought that much more meaning and honor to Hodor’s purpose

  • People keep criticize the writing. This show will still go down as the most EPIC series of all time. The set design, costumes, and special effects put big budget motion pictures to shame. The scenes with Drogon alone are above and beyond phenomenal. Would we prefer a happy Jon ends up with dany love story ending? Sure. But overall we can't deny that we did not enjoy this show. Ever since they killed Ned Stark. We were all like.. What?! Pushed bran off the tower. Who remembers watching that scene and was like.. Wait a minute.. Aren't they brother and sister? Stop acting so spoiled. And let the show inspire your creative senses to create your own epic saga. Were good guys don't get picked off. And has a happy fulfilling ending. See you all at the conventions!

  • I really thought that drogon was gonna burn jon... but then he went for the throne coz thats what stabbed his mum in the heart🤨

  • Could have dropped Jon of at Winterfell, no one would know. Except Bran of course. But why would he care?!! The Ironborn wouldnt come to winterfell anyway. - Yara was the only one left in westeros who wanted him dead.

  • I liked it

  • WHY DID JOHN HAVE TO KILL DAENERYS ? WHY COULDN'T SHE HAVE GONE BACK TO THE GRASSLANDS WITH DROGON, THE UNSULLIED & THE DATHRACKI ? I DID NOT LIKE THIS ENDING. I WOULD HAVE RATHER SEEN SANSA GO , ATTITUDE AND ALL.

  • What’s ur opinion about this season

  • Why would a group of infertile men want to start a new House?

  • Such a lazy attempt at video making. He's just giving a recap of the episode instead of reviewing it.

  • Starks won the game of thrones they have a stark ruling every region

  • All the naval officers that trained on navigation in Master and Commander and Horatio Hornblower want to know how Arya learned to navigate so fast/I wanted the Starks to stay together rather than go all their separate ways. Kinda depressing.

  • I love and I hated the ending. Was it bittersweet, yeah...was it satisfying, no

  • It was terrible.

  • how the heck is bran the king. as king you have to motivate and inspire people. bran character had no personality!! total BS, lazy writers
