  • It is a good thing that more drugs are available to more people because of precisely the reason you suggested. It is purer and safer. If the govt would just legalize and provide/sell clean drugs we would see, immediately, overnight, a dead drop in the mass overdoses and in arrests for drug-related crimes. Not to mention the tax money that would be generated. Even homelessness and regular crime would see a huge decrease. The black market would go into shock. The list goes on, it would do so much good for so many people. It's really crazy to me that more people don't understand this. Just look at the countries that have implemented these practices, the proof is there. Norway, Switzerland, etc... No crime, no overdoses, low addiction rates. Not to mention their reoffending rates are under 5% because their prisons are focused on reforming people instead of being a revolving door made to suck cash out of already impoverished families through never-ending fines and fees and tickets... It's insanity.

  • He must be an dmt user

  • So this is how drugs use is promoted these days? How liberal we have become and dam down.

  • It is ethical. Nobody is coercing anybody (unlike the state in regulated economy = immoral). Free market is always moral, because there is no violence and no coercion.

  • DAME scary 😱😱😱😱😱💀💀💀

  • hello dr martens!

  • Write our way out of our mind machine and so the need for suppressing drugs that just makes it come back worse than ever! This site has shown me how to changed my life! WWW.DESTENIIPROCESS.COM. Take care of yourself!

  • * FBI has joined the chat

  • We publicly condemn drugs, but few people know how much the US and Britain have gained from Opium and Cocaine trade.

  • The only problem is that you have to give a delivery address and a name and then show up to collect your package at that address. Who knows to whom you've given out that address to? Also it has to go through standard mail systems which increasingly Xray packages and also use sniffer dogs. You'll have cops waiting for you at the delivery address.

  • Why are people laughing?

  • '20 or 30 thousand sites'. Is he stupid?

  • I miss the old internet. Everything is being censored today, and its became merely an convulative numbers game extension of reality ...

  • He gives me the impression he has a bit of a coke habit to be fair.

  • Did I just see a drug shop advertisment not very well concealed as a TED presentation?

  • So this is what the Snow Patrol frontman is doing these days.

  • WTF man. Your hair is detracting from your message.

  • I thought it was going to be another 'shut down dark net' rant but it is brilliantly presented. Great job Jamie.

  • Tor is mainstreamed. Dark web is mainstreamed. VPN is mainstreamed. Privacy is mainstreamed. It's all business.

  • The dark net is not that difficult to shut down. That statement just provides protection for the crowd that has learned to take advantage.

  • Interesting the Ethereum Project of Distributed and encrypted database

  • I never thought Tim Burton would know so much about the dark net.

  • Use Facebook anywhere on dark or bright web, they gonna steal the user's data. :/

  • *_the noughties_*

  • It’s Pep Guardiola with Hair and a beard wow

  • This guys a snitch !!!! Dislike !!!

  • You were quite wrong. and that's sad.

  • I’m so happy to know that dopeheads can now get their drugs without leaving their living room!

  • I don't agree with this. The dark net going mainstream is scary ... there will be more human trafficking, illegal prostitution and organ trafficking too :( ...

  • "Fair-trade Cocaïne" #lol

  • but wait. Theres more.. Zeronet.io

  • I wonder if such growing darknet will need to grow the infrastructure too?

  • I've been scammed several times on there.

  • Why would it be bad if some adult ordered drugs online? Why would it worry someone else like they should be concerned? They are sitting there like theyre better than that? When Today a pregnant mother thats in labor can go to a state like New York/Virginia have the babies head smashed and organs sold to the highest bidder legally? No Questions asked? they can do it as much as they want?

  • 3 years later and this guy is wrong about his prediction.

  • so basically internet is going to be safe heaven for terrorists and criminals. Only if there were some extreme laws on people who oversees people's data, and handled them with discretion otherwise faced penalty, people would have been less concerned about their privacy. And this quest for privacy has opened a path of extreme difficulties and destruction, they just don't understand it now, because it's not a reality yet. Just like Atomic bombs. Just because government handled it so badly, now people have no trust in them, and that is why without understanding the consequence they are leaning toward dark-net.

  • there is no doubt that the world is controled by these dark nets end specially the governement of any coutry and of course you and your way of libing talking thinking , you are just a copy of what you should really be

  • This feels more like an advertisement and judging by the way he looks I think it is

  • Drug Dealers care more about their customer than most large Corporations...

    • You mean the illegal drug dealers vs the corporate legal ones like purdue pharma, aneiser busch, rj reynolds and such who produce and distribute some of the most harmful drugs while cannabis dealers are prosecuted for the least harmful ones.

  • And here's me trying to find high quality cocaine on Amazon. Silly me.

  • Its not that welcoming

  • How about you at least brush your hair when you get out of bed!

  • So... you see Silicon Valley?

  • Elastos is creating a Thor-like censorship resistance blockchain network that the internet can run on, and also provides device-to-device P2P linkage outside of the main internet.

  • are drugs good? yes but actually no

  • according to comments down below having conventional hairstyle is more important than own privacy.

  • So u mean its ky to use the dark net ?

  • His hairstyle annoys me

  • deep web is too overrated .. seriously most content on there are broken links, and waste of time content even if there is some criminal activity on there ... it's not to the degree that they make it seem to be

    • You just haven't gone deep enough boy

  • Lol darknet has not gone "mainstream", not at all.

  • "I'm gonna talk about how brilliant people on the fringes are and I want people to see me as fringe." "Got it!"

  • Mark Zuckerberg literally just posted a note about trying to privatize and encrypt more of facebook like yesterday.

  • just letting you know.... the tor browser was never mainstream.... someone actually hacked into their project and actually mainstreamed it into the public... then that's when everything illegal was made in tor cause as he said... tor browser were only made for government to ship/trade stuff incognito without it being public.....

  • So I've watched a lot of these but I still haven't seen this 'Ted' guy show up to do a talk himself...

  • Bitconnecttttttttttttt

  • Wow! You don't know anything about the dark web
