  • Fascinating

  • with the apple reward Michael would have done better😁😂😂

  • Is it possible that the chimpanzees vision is better than ours, rather than their memory. The human eye can only see sharp recognisable images when it focuses on something, everything else around the focal point is a blur, which is to do with the brain filling in the surrounding image. Is it possible that chimpanzees have a wider area of focused vision compared to humans?

  • Es un cholo peruano!

  • hi guys, dicksauce here, actin"out as the poster fuckboy for google scumfucks trying to turn youtube into cable tv

  • Is this not a case of conditioning? Don't they "learn" quick focus and memory by doing this test often? The more you do it - the better you get?

  • Oh WOW!

  • I cant believe it, adults still like fairy tales.

    • +julie Wallis. Yeah I know that show but I was talking about the fairytale story told by an old man about monkeys that turned into humans.

    • Jeremy have you heard of *Game of Thrones* one of the best fairy tales ever told and loved by adults the world over.

  • Not true, the orders on the numbers changed.

  • Laungage is not good. Speech is evoking spells.

  • This video has made me realize that autism has to do with the link between the capacities for memory vs language, and the anatomy of the chimpanzee vs the homunculus. Being a member of multiple high IQ societies, I've seen many different cognitive profiles including people capable of battling it off more seriously with Ayumu and this connection seems accurate, especially because so many of the individuals with scores above 160 can begin to seem autistic due to their immense logics.

  • You can sense the salt when Michael fails the test lol

  • Theory of evolution is NOT true.

  • How the tables have turned

  • Someone should try that memory test on F1 drivers

  • Oh no chimps are learning like babies and starting at a more advanced level and will soon learn telepathy and control AI and become the new illuminati

  • VSAUCE GOT THE BAG VSAUCE GOT THE BAG

  • Proves God didn't create man. You're welcome.

  • This video shows a misconception about Cheetahs. They dont roar. They meow like a normal house cat

  • It's really upsetting that your channel is now pay to watch. I miss getting stoked about seeing a new video and now I get stoked about seeing a free episode every blue moon.

  • Darwin theory OMG....

  • Fuck off yumi I can do it like 0.2 sec.

  • I've known this facility and these incredible skills for years and I always talk to my friends about it. But yeah it's rly cool to see Michael doing a bit on it

  • Awesome...

  • Imagination 🙌🏽 🌈

  • This Tetsuro guy is pretty rude laughing at Micheal. Not very well mannered.

  • Soon all the channels will have this "premium" content, I'm not liking whay RU-tv is becoming .

  • The memory language tradeoff hipotesis could be extrapolated to explain the extraordinary memory of some children who have the autistic spectrum condition.

  • At 3:05 it states that we aren't sure why we stepped down from the limbs to explore. Personally i think that a tree dwelling species will have (among the millions) a thousand or so individual monkeys fall to the ground after, say they tried swinging from a weak branch. Imagine that among those thousands, per se, how were confronted by a predator? I assume thousands upon thousands of times a year a monkey would have been confronted by a predator with broken branch in hand, how many do you think would wise up fast enough to use the branch as a weapon? Those that do will live to have children and those that dont die off. Before you know it the skill of using a weapon coule simply be mastered by a species by pure chance as long as they # in the millions, in order for this type of intelligence to filter itself into the tree dwelling species

  • BULLSHIT

  • The thing about this hypothesis is that it can't be tested.

  • He was right, my mind was blown, but not by the monkeys, but bcuz people actually believe evolution is real. In fact, this video proves 2 different ways that humans are idiots. "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it." ~A Liar

  • Did anyone else get the vibe that the scientist man was like overly defensive and kept mentioning the fact that Michael is worse than a chimp or was that just me

  • Buy the entire season for nothing Those bastereds are up to somthing

  • 5:14 is me in the background when I want to leave somewhere but my mom is still on the phone

  • Not even two minutes in and my mind is already blown with the chimps killing the number game.

  • Look at monkeysssssssssssssssssssss.

  • Dikke boutert

  • if we evolved from primates why are primates still here ...?

  • I disagree Mr scientists your theory is so wrong.let me take you to a trip we are created in image of the great being God why you don't get all your answers is because you ignore the history (Bible) that speaks about this great being God the reason you won't find your answers on evolution something happened about the missing link you won't know it you need the supernatural which is God. Let me ask you a question where do you come from what are you doing here on the earth and where are you going to? you can't tell me is mind over matter

    • We come from a complex pattern of chemical reactions that has the unique ability to replicate itself with subtle differences. I have no ultimate purpose in this universe, and the most likely place I'll go is a few places around America before settling down.

  • The cognitive trade off theory is very similar to the theory of Eugene marais set out in his ground breaking work called The Soul of the Ape in 1969.

  • Take a look at autism & savants. Is it possible they revert back to their “former” high short term memory and low communication memory

  • interestingly Australian indigenous children can do a similar memory task and do much better than indigenous children. However, once they reach puberty the indigenous child loses the ability. It would seem that the indigenous child sees the while pattern and can reproduce it where the non~indigenous works linearly but like Michael, after the first few positions, gets lost.

  • Sorry but that doctor is not convincing .

  • What about ppl with photographic memory

  • Why couldn't gorilla's have evolved into super intelligent beings like humans instead of chimps? Why couldn't we be giant hulking gorillas with a lot of intelligence ffs.

  • We can't understand what animals say.... So we think that they don't say anything "smart"....

  • This is for sure true lol

  • The earth is flat, stationary and enclosed by a crystalline firmament. Also I don’t watch premium videos.

  • It's just really important I say this. I hate your face and stupid thumbnail.

  • We didn't just get kicked out the trees. That makes no sense and we'd have been eaten long before language developed. More likely we were in a somehow isolated forest environment that slowly thinned and died over long periods. Making us now travel further and further on the floor to reach fruit and slowly increasing over generations. We then adapted to spend more and more time out of trees and developed culture/ language to cope.

  • Dr: Its impossible Michael: 'Hits himself because he cant do it'

  • Being a kid and someone who plays video games on ayumu’s 0.5 second time I could get 5 almost consistently as for the initial time u got to memorize it all I got half of them in the screen time u showed but still nothing compared to ayumu

  • Now days even the bee knowns where to pollinate @...are kept into captivity and therefore afterwards are realised into wilderness! Very unhealthy ! Sad, sad, sad! Make sure those "scientists" wouldn't apply this "practices" on humans! God help me, you and the sarcastic scientist!

  • nietzsche le gaie savoir aphorisme 354

  • Fucking Nazi, nuclear weapons are ready for your experiment doctor

  • I can't tell the chimps apart. They all look alike.

  • Michael: We are worst in that because we can talk Me: faaaaaaaaakkkkkk

  • What a jerk he was to that chimp

  • Ok I call BS ... chimpanzee had plenty of practice....if a person were to practice the human brain can use it's photographic capability and do better than a chimpanzee...I mean no offence to chimpanzees

  • So they can cram for tests better than us?

  • Do you think that if you'd been doing this as long as Ai you could improve to remembering all the numbers?

  • monkey was learning how to perform this task for months. Doesn't seems like fair competition. Also this experiment not quite enough for such kind of loud conclusion.

  • The chimps have an amazing memory but I’d be interested to know how good their application is. Probably not as good as ours but I’d like to see where it would fit in the cognitive trade off theory.

  • You're a peace of lying bozzo chut clown

  • Also because we humans often make internal inferences such as those related to moral considerations, often times finding ourselves in a moral quandary. And, as such at least some of us are taking such inferences and from which we derive conclusions that we take to the memory bank.

  • Y'all broke 😎

  • I pay so I don't have to plow 30 commercials in a 2 min video. Not for your shit content. Keep it off my feed, I'm not interested.

    • Ah yes. Michael chooses to put his content on your feed personally. He'll definitely see this comment and make it stop.

  • I don't totally buy it, specially when the guy laughs and says "it's impossible". There is a bias. We use to make so many distinct cognitive tasks in comparisson. Put a human just doing this several months as the chimps and only then compare. Or put a chimp to compete with someone of the fastest at solving Rubik's cube (there one uses short term memory too)

  • I would argue that the chimp has had many years more practice doing that? How do chimps progress first time? How quickly do they improve? Is it much faster? How do humans do with non character images? On different backgrounds? It sounds incomplete.

No espirito. No espirito.

No espirito.

  • Your dick is so small your nose so long reverse them wheres your hair dont let me ever see you look over your pussy back.

  • The questions is, did Ayumu have a learning curve? Which is what I believe we're seeing in the human experiment

  • Can they teach chimpanzees to accurately shoot machine guns and throw hand grenades...not yet?.....THANK GOD.

    • +Max Xam that's scary only because it sounds so doable lol👍👍👍

    • I'd suggest enhancing their brains by removing parts of it and replacing it with computers. That would make chimps programable and even remotely controlled by a human operator. Cheaper than constructing an entire robotic body.

  • Visual memory !

  • So just because the monkeys left the trees that’s why they evolved, what? so stupid.

    • "I don't understand how something works therefore it is stupid"

    • They evolved before that, you ignorant fool, and they're evolving to this day. All living animals are, including ourselves.

  • God made HUMANS.

  • You make this short ride on spaceship earth worth it.

  • The reason why none of this is correct is that human are genetically closer to pigs. Go figure

  • So basically the answer to "why did I forget what I was gonna say?" Is "because you can speak"

    • very smart perspective

  • You just keep on giving! I'm so glad you keep continuing this searies! Thank you Michael.

  • Inuyama is Aichi Prefecture. i've been to Little World in Inuyama.

  • Was anyone else hoping for a fight after the Michael vs. chimp screen?

  • Makes so much sense that NASA and Russia’s equivalent were using Chimps or training them to see if they could use these primates in their SPACE Programs. Now that we have computers that are faster than any species or any human being we no longer have the need for anything of this nature. Now it’s just good science. Maybe studying these animals will lead us down the path of brain regeneration and the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.

  • when you spend all your skill points on speech.

  • 22:08 == ru-tv.org/tv/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cy4mztkndHk.html

  • Australian Indigenous language is also under threat and many have been lost. Probably many traditional dances have been lost too but no-one seems very interested.

  • I have fake chimps captured on 2001 a Space Odyssey.
